Did a quick search on this and didn't find anything so here's my take on The Box. Watched it last night and first off I went into it knowing only what was shown in the trailer, weird guy gives you a box, you push the button someone you don't know dies and you get a million bucks, simple enough, I thought. Without giving anything away, I want you to be just as surprised as I was, The Box is one of the creepiest, strangest, weirdest, most entertaining movie I seen in a while, definitely one of the most original IMO. I can't comment on the PQ or AQ since I watched this on DVD and WB's DVD quality has gone in the crapper the past few years so I'm still waiting on Netflix to send me the BD because I'm for sure watchin it again. Worth a rental for sure maybe even purchase for some. Two thumbs up!

I almost went to see this at the theatre but the reviews at the time mentioned something about the storyline not having anything to do with the box. Reviews were pretty negative including 1 person I knew didn't like it. I'll give it a shot.

    Thx!

I thought it could've been trimmed down by about 30 minutes and been a much better movie. At best, it was like an hour long Twilight Zone stretched and padded to fill feature length. Interesting movie, but not particularly good.
