Not a huge audiophile. Bought a pair of Monitor 10's back in 1987. Always loved 'em. Kids are grown now but loved 'em too. Recently one of the tweeters went out. Want keep these speakers a while longer while I consider how to move into the 21st century (+10). Not great with MB's so if you got 'em post and PM me if you can and I'll find you somehow. THX

I would put RDO-194 tweeters in, update the crossover and call it good for another 20 years.

If not I have a SL2000 you can buy.

I know speakers have crossovers but I don't know what it means anymore (used to I think). When you say update the crossover do you mean add some some other component. I can even see an easy way to get into the back of the speaker.

I mean replace the caps and resisters with better ones. If you don't want to do it yourself some forum members will hook you up.

    Your ears will be happy.

Thanks TNTsTunes, I've got some educating to do for myself but I'm glad to know that I can still hear some great sound out of my old speakers.
