Hello and welcome to Club Polk. How big was the demo room in relation to how big the rig is currently set up in?

Also, what are you trying to achieve from figure 4 and 5?

figure 4 and 5 deal with bi-wiring and bi-amping. do a search in here and you will find many threads about those topics.

just want to know the diffrence for optimizing sound.

the demo room was about the same size as my living room.the only diffrene the demo room was carpeted and my LR is hardwood,no carpet, but i think the size of the room isn't the issue,is sound coming from the speakers.

That's fine. What, in your opinion just doesn't seem to be right with the sound?

i want more deeper solid bass and finner and cleaner sound.
to answer your question, the bass is not there sort of in sync.when i play the blu-ray is fine but when it comes to music something is missing.

What is your source of music? I.E. a CDP, DVD player or an I-POD?

If the Blue Ray sounds great and the music sounds bad coming from the same player, then logically the source [output from the BRP] for exclusively music is the issue. Would you happen to have a dedicated CDP laying around that you could try?

What kind of music are you trying to play through the BRP? Is it ripped or original?

An amp will def. help get you better sound, but will benifit you more with music over HT, IMHO. If you don't have a sub, look into getting one first, then add an amp if you are still not satisfied, a good sub will make a huge difference. Look into SVS, Velodyne, Epik, and Polk. The first three can be pretty spendy, so check the used market. The PSW505 is a steal at $250 at Newegg and the DSW line is a good choice as well. Good luck and welcome to Club Polk.

Sony ES series AVRs are pretty good but the Rti-A9s can soak up A LOT MORE POWER!

Sal's suggestions above are good. Any reputable power amp manufacturer would do your speakers 'good'--at least 200 watts with more in 4 ohms (maybe 350W) per channel should do.

Go out and listen, buy USED!! Rotel, Parasound, B&K, NAD, Carver, Adcom, etc.....look as www.audiogon.com for your PRICE range....join the site. And ask questions of the seller and negotiate your price. If he/she is close, ask if you can visit for an audition of the amp, and so on...

    Good Luck
