TSi crossover mods?

There appears to be a good deal of DIY tweaking with one's speakers going on around this place. Extremely cool stuff! Although, much like trying to hack the registry of one's computer, I expect it only takes a small misstep to cause disaster!
Are there any good threads or individuals one can look to for mod. advice pertaining to (in my particular case) TSi crossover mods?
Disclaimer: "Can of worms" question to follow...
Is it worth it?
I understand that the quality of internal components can have a dramatic effect on the overall sound quality of a given component, but I would expect the amount of 'improvement' to be extremely subjective yes?
*putting on helmet and elbow/knee pads, grabbing my lance and digging in!*

Pull your crossover, read the values off the caps and resistors in there, replace with caps and resistors of the same values but higher quality."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche
