Title says it all. A set of RS II's came up locally and I need some advice. I've been looking to break out of my "polk bubble" for a while, wondering if this set may be a good first step.
PM me if you know a thing or two about the older RS line.
Thanks.

I had them. I heard Polk's and gave mine away.
BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

Ha. I actually caught that on another thread. Don't get me wrong, love my Polks, just want to "bridge out" a bit. -

Great speakers, but long in the tooth if you have a need for mids and tweets. The Watkins woofers can be rebuilt, but it can be high. I miss my RSIIIB's, one of those speakers I should have never sold.
Some of Arnie Nudell's best work, if you ask me. Including his Polk (Eosound), Genesis, and Cambridge Soundworks offerings. Definatley worth saving / restoring.
Cheers,

Not an actual picture of the speakers, but these are the ones available. If you guys are up for it, please PM me your idea of a fair price. (Nothing in posts; got burned this way before). From the desription, all surrounds ARE GOOD. -
There is an Infinity dedicated forum at

Might be a good place to seek info. -
I owned Infinity RSIIIb's in the mid '80's, I liked them very much. I would rate them the second best speaker I have ever owned, with the AR9Lsi's being first.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2
