I would like to hook a pair of these up to a Hovland Saphire amp, which uses EL 34 tubes, and is a hybrid design. I am a newbie and understand that because of the crosstalk cable, the amp speaker outputs must have a common ground. I believe my amp has this, as most do. Any danger that anyone can see here to the amp? Many thx....this is my first post on this site.

    Welcome to Club Polk. If you have a multimeter check for continuity between the speaker grounds on the amp. If it reads near no resistance you can safely use that amp.
