I went to my local goodwill and they have a Marantz LV-510 Laser disc player\cd player for $9. The sticker says "works" on it. Is it worth it? I know its a good brand but I don't know if it would sound any better than the current gen dvd players I have laying around. Can anyone confirm this or give me some advice? Thanks! It has digital and analogue outputs on it.

Is it a laser disc player or DVD player or both? If it only plays laser discs I would pass.

Pretty much! I think smashing it to bits was worth whatever I would have received for it. :p
