Speaker recommendation

I have a 2003 F150 Supercrew with an AVIC F700BT. I would like to replace the speakers because the stock ones suck. I am not going to buy an amp, subs or component speakers. I would like a speaker that will give me a big sound improvement. I like to crank up metal, rock, country and rap on occasion and listen to talk radio the rest of the time. I was considering the DB571s as I was told they handle low power (no amp) situations well. Is this a good match or is there something better?

    that would be a good option because they will sound much better than stock. Another way to go would be to get adapter plates and get 5.25" speakers in the 5x7 locations because round speakers will give you a cleaner, better sound.

    If I had the adapters I could put in a set of SR5250. Would my HU be enough without an amp? Where do you put the crossovers? Would they be worth the extra money over a MM5251, db5251, db521?

    db521 = $58 on ebay
    db5251 = $98 on ebay

    Are the db5251s worth the extra $40 with a AVIC F700BT and no amp?

    Also where do you mount the crossover in a 2003 F150 Supercrew?

    Let me "steal" this thread a bit :)

    I have db6501 comps in my front doors already. Had them for about a year and love them.
    Recently i got a pair of MMC6500 which is basically and older version of MM6501 to be installed in rear doors.

    I do realize that momo series are better then DB but it is THAT MUCH better to justify me taking out my dbs from the front, installing them in the rear and get momos in the front instead?

    I would switch them out unless you plan on sitting in the back that much. Better yet buy another set of MM6501 and I'll buy the db comps off you.

    I thought they will be a lot better too, but after looking into specs they don't seems to be that mch better then dbs.
    frequency response is 43-25K in mmc and 35-23k in dbs which means dbs give out more bass.
    sensitivity is 90dB in mmc and 92dB in dbs which means dbs are also louder.

    Again, i didn't install them yet, differance could be night and day but i do have some doubts on this as of now.
