Hey Guys,
This weekend I proposed to my girlfriend outside the Ryman Auditorium where Keb'Mo' was to play. The proposal went off without a hitch and the concert was an excellent treat.
The Ryman Auditorium is evidently the Church of country music, rightly so given that it used to be a church. We found our numbered seats in the original church pews and watched as people of all ages crowded the auditorium to capacity.
Keb'Mo' came on punctually at 8 pm with no opening act. He and two other artists played for over 2 hours. The acoustics in the auditorium were the best I've ever heard live. Keb'Mo' played all his great songs and even some I've never heard before. Those I knew were played in new unique ways or with added artistry that made the experience both familiar and thrilling.
The two other players that accompanied Keb'Mo' played the harmonica and several kinds of guitars and stringed instruments with amazing skill. The only percussion was the sound of the crowd tapping their toes on the wood rafters above or clapping their hands with the beat next to me.
This was a concert experience to remember. I highly recommend anyone buying tickets to see Keb'Mo' and his friends if they ever get the chance.
