The wife says i look less like an idiot when i use all caps instead of being too lazy to capitolize an i. Personally i dont care. I told her that if my ivy league education was over looked by others that were to lazy to actually read the post and not the grammer then f'em. I know i looks like im yelling but im really not. I just look less like an idiot this way(according to her) i wonder if now i can un cap and it would be considered a whisper? One last thing. I just found the spell checker! Yah for me!!! While I try to read and understand any post, my personal opinion is the more poorly written the post, the more likely the poster is a clueless boob. So far, this has been a reasonably accurate rule of thumb.

Trying to read unformatted, grammatically incorrect, posts with a large number of spelling errors, with no capitalization always seems to result in ignoring the poster. While this is a bias on my part, and can result in initially missing something important, at some point a literate individual will make the same point, and then I can learn something.

It is not that hard to write a readable post, so why make yourself look like a fool by being too lazy to press the ‘shift’ key?

what have you done with my wife?

The reason we take English class and write term papers isn't just for the sake of being graded, but to teach us how to better communicate in the real world. Your style of writing on an Internet forum tells everyone a lot about you; it's your very first impression on EVERY post. Capitalizing (which you misspelled, by the way, in your first post) your "I's" isn't a huge thing, but knowing the difference between to, too, and two, and using possessive apostrophes correctly... it speaks volumes.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Eh I don't know about anyone else, but I'd rather that anyone reading my posts NOT think that I'm some ignorant, uneducated moron who didn't bother paying attention in school. Or who had parents who didn't care enough about me to make me pay attention in school.

It's about respecting myself enough to present myself to the world at large (including a web message board) as a reasonably intelligent, educated person.

Please refer to the red highlight
