Need rear surround advice....

Hello all,

If you look at my sig, in Room 2, I am using FXi30's as my rear surround speakers. I have a pair of RT1000P's that I was going to sell, but am thinking about making those the rear surrounds in Room 2.

At the moment I have that extra set of RT1000p's and another spare set of FX30i's...this would leave me with two pair of extra FXi30's but will put back the RT1000p's in use.....is this a good idea??

I wont touch Room 1.......it is just too perfect !!!!!!

    If you have the room and it is aesthetically pleasing, it sounds like a good idea to replace your FXi30's with the RT1000's. I don't see where you have a subwoofer listed for either room so that makes a difference in a recommendation. The RT1000's will add some additional bass to the rear but might not be as noticeable if you have a decent sub. Since you have both the 2000's and 1000's, you know how much better the 2000's are in the bass dept.

    On second thought, if you don't have a dedicated sub, sell the 1000's to fund the purchase of a sub.

    i just updated my sig, I have subs in both rooms...the one in room 2 an an 11.5 year old 10" Infinity and it hits fairly hard...

    WOW...I am glad I tried this....My room with the RT2000's and FX1000's use to sound better, but replacing the FXi30"s and using my spare RT1000P's as surrounds is killer !!!!
