For sale is a 2 month old SVS PB10- NSD. Comes with all original accessories including CD. See below for the website link to SVS subwoofers. Excellent for home theater and music. This will blow away any POLK, DEFINITIVE, Velodyne sub under $1000. I would prefer local pickup in Orlando, FL. I can arrange for shipping as well if needed. I am asking $400 for the sub. Call me at 616-560-0166 if you are interested.

Here is the craigslist link:

good job on posting a bunch of crap to sell this. if you would have bothered to look at some of the dates on the posts you pulled up or read my for sale thread you would of probably made a different choice but whatever.

umm ok. If you wanted to post more useful info than I would suggest doing so rather than pulling up old threads and saying oh nice speakers. Oh I own them. Oh they are good. This is not helpful and a lot of people don't care for that type of activity.

it also just is like you want to see if you can get someone to buy your stuff and don't care about what the forum is like, which is not a place to just dump something off, its a community and we look out for each other. Take the time to get to know people and have the community vibe and sales will go a lot better for you.

I am actually in the market for a sub and have looking around at the SVS subs. When i saw this thread i was pretty happy. Then i saw who posted it and I knew that they raced to 25 post in one day to sell something and would never purchase something from them.

    good luck man.

But guys, you could save $75. I bet that's worth the questionable seller's reputation. Especially one who came in and said this blows away any Polk (you know, the company funding this forum) to sell his other brand equipment. Tact!

lol....you joking right? EVERYONE can see that you were spamming and necro-posting in the 11TL threads. Just so you can sell your sub here? Wow you are off to a good start of "becoming and integrated member"!

Alright, sorry about busting your chops earlier. We usually do a great job welcoming new people but as you can see, we feel spamming up the forum to get to 25 posts to sell product is not looked upon well. At least you did post your phone number (which is...risky) to show you're trying to be legit... that's a good sign.

He did what he did but he's legal now, move along. Not every member wants to be here for any longer than it takes to get rid of things....it's a fact of life. I'd be shocked if he sells it here anyways, since it's already on CL...but who cares.

I'm sorry if I have offended anyone by posting in the old 11TL threads or threads associated with the Yamaha RX-V663. I am trying to put together my first home theater and would like to sell the SVS subwoofer since I have recently purchased a HSU VTF3-MK3 Turbo. If you have any questions regarding the subwoofer itself, I would be glad to speak with you.

If you have any references I'd throw them out there if I were you. That's about the only prayer you have of selling it here. I'm sure you may be a very good person but coming into the forum the way you did and throwing up a for sale thread is just bad form.

    Good luck,though.

I accept any criticism you may have, however this is a great subwoofer that is almost new. I am asking $400, and if you are in the Orlando area I would be glad to demo the subwoofer for you. If you have other concerns or negative comments, feel free to private message me. Thank you!

I forgot to mention that I do have references available upon request, and to protect those identities, I would prefer you send me a PM. In addition, I have been a member on eBay for five years and have a 100% feedback rating. If you would like my eBay user name, just send me a PM and I would be happy to send you my information. Thank you!

Why not post it publically? It's just eBay.

    but who cares.

I think we all do. just mucking up threads. (not every one, but many) maybe a deal is to be had, but i'd rather buy from a trusted, long-standing member.

i'm sure it's been asked a BIZILLion times, but why not up the requirement to 100? many would consider that not worth the effort and help keep things in line here in the FM.

Regardless of whether or not he contributed 25 useful posts, or meaningless posts, he DID contribute the 25 posts that he's required to make.

I think the requirements are just fine as they are.

If it was upped to 100 posts, then we'd just have people making 100 crap posts instead of 25. If it's changed at all, it needs to reflect on the persons length of membership IMO.

But, as I said, I think it all works fine as is.

    Good luck with the sale.

^ Length of time idea I like! I mean, this dude came on here and posted in every friggin' 11TL thread CP probably has! 25 replies like "Great Speakers", "I can't wait to get mine", "Awesome Speakers" etc etc. I damn sure wouldn't buy anything from him on that premise alone. No matter how good his eBay rating is or any other references.

And if people are allowed to post like that just to sell something. Why even have the 25 post rule at all then? It is clearly being abused.

I'm sure the 25 post rule has turned away MANY people who were going to come in here just to unload some gear.

The rules don't state that you have to make 25 posts spread out over a period of a week, with each post being an incredibly informative, and educational technical write up. It simply states that you must make 25 posts before you'll be able to sell anything here. That's the rule, and you absolutely have to follow it before selling anything.

Obviously he followed it, or else he wouldn't have posted this thread. I really don't get why this is such a big deal here all the time.

He posted his phone number, says he'd prefer local pickup, has offered to let people demo it in his home, has offered to give people his ebay info to check feedback etc...

This seems like a pretty legit deal to me.
