OK just so I am on the right path here, Thanks in advance for the info.

I need:

2 40UF
2 20UF
2 12UF
2 4.4UF

4 7.5 5w Resistors
2 2.7 5w Resistors
2 0.5 ohm Resistors to replace the poly's

Now I do see a little looking purple thing that looks like a poly as well/ What the hell is it? is it the 750pf that i can eliminate?

My plan is to use all Sonicap's (i would like to order tomorrow) can I order the mills from them as well? do they have them or do I need to order them from someplace else?

Thanks.

Larry.

I believe that is a silver mica cap. Ask Jesse about it for more info. . . he's up right now.

It's a bypass cap. Delete it now that you are using premium caps.

Dude there are atleast two dozen threads on upgrading 1C's all the info you need is there. :) You can order Sonic Caps and Mills from Sonicraft.

Also take a peek at Clarity caps. Hp and face have used them. If you want them from madisound use the mox resistors.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Larry, this is my link when I did mine. Hope it helps.

I used a solder wick for removing the old parts, I prefer it over suck bulbs but YMMV. Also order the cardas solder from sonicraft. I also asked for matched cpas as well.

If you would like to review over the phone send me a PM with your number.

It is easy just take pictures, do one side at a time and be patient.

Sonicaps and Mills are ordered, and the RDO-194's ordered yesterday. I will be disassembling these babys this weekend so I can get the wood caps to the paint shop next week.

I need to order some brass for the spikes, dynamat and grill cloth. I still have mortite.

Yeah the Dynamat helped a lot.

You can't go wrong with the Sonicaps, but as Ben said, a lot of us have had success with the Clarity Caps as well.

    Good luck.
