Just got off the phone with Polk and ordered my RDO-194 tweeters.tonight I will take out the crossovers and do a check list on caps and resisters and make my phone call to Sonicaps tomorrow.;)
Also I talked to our paint shop about doing a piano black finish on my wood caps and all is good there as well.;)
Can't wait!!!
I will need .5 resisters to replace the poly's correct?
Peace.

.5 ohm,, 5 or 12 watt mills resistors in place of the poly(I use the 12 watt) but either is acceptable.JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)

1/2 ohm is the general consensus when replacing the SL3000's with the RD0198's in the 1.2TL and 2.3TL. It's possible a different value may be better for the 194 replacements and/or in different SDA models. 1/2 ohm is probably a good place to start though.
The actual specified resistance of an RXE135 that isn't tripped, according to the datasheet, is about .15 ohms. Your typical multimeter isn't very accurate when measuring very small resistances, and you'll probably measure in the .5 to .7 ohm range. -
Can't wait to mod my SDA's.

Great to hear Larry make sure you post your impressions. BTW I would go with the 5 watters as Mills claims they have less inductance properties than the 12 watters. Credit given to F1nut for the info. That's what I am planning to use in my 1.2TLs to replace the jumper.
