In case anyone is looking. I was looking at the Porter-Cable and the Rockler. Both have very good reviews, solidly built and not an arm and a leg. Rockler is having a great deal on its unit, including the dust collector attachment for $120. Can't find a better price.

    I can't remember what I used to build this 25 years ago. Thinking it was a homemade jig. No nails. The secondary drawer wood is cherry, btw.

    I had scored a pile of that off the predecessor to CL in Ok, the Bargain Trader. I wasted most of it, as I didn't know wtf I was doing at the time. :( Oh well.
    The padauk came later, also a killer bargain. That's what I was blowing my $ on back then instead of audio equipment :p
