SDA%20Skunk%20Works

Upon openning up my SDA's I discovered what looks like some strange technology that Polk had employed in this speaker. What it is or what it does I have no idea..
It appears to be a band of some resilient type material that the wire was fed thru and then the band was knotted around it!
Initial investigation shows you can wad it up and it returns to its original shape,it is not magnetic,it is not generating a frequency and does not resonate to any known frequency, nor does it exhibit resistance or conductivity!Amazing!!
I feel this may have been part of a Black Budget project and this example accidently made its way out of "The Warehouse".
If anyone has a clue as to what this is and/or has any experience with it please post comment...perhaps we can get to the bottom of this mystery and fully realize its applications, which may revolutionize the audio industry!

I am going with Alien abduction on this one. Looks like they were subjected to some freaky experiments to determine the source of 3D sound eminating from two large heavy boxes.

I can't believe you didn't see the sign stating, "Caution; handling or breathing in this very toxic substance, will cause death within two days after your eye pop out of their sockets!"

I thought Mr. Polk worked out in Nevada in his younger years!

He used to take a lunch box to work too didn't he? SDA tech one part at a time uh huh. Wingzam has finally found that elusive magic piece of the puzzle.

I work with a guy who is from Roswell, New Mexico. I have long believed him to be an alien. I'll ask him if he knows anything about it.

BTW,for anyone who's interested,I would be willing to trade this Historical Artifact and specimen of Alien Technology for a pair of SDA 2.3tl's
