1080p Projector

I haven't even really started my research yet and don't know much about projectors but I've had good luck buying used gear here before.
Needs to have low hours and throw a large image from about 14ft or so. Also you must be willing to ship to Oman. I don't have regular access to the internet so I might not check this before Saturday.
If you have a projector that you are looking to unload let me know. I am looking to get a quality screen (next) and projector for around $2,000. I don't even know if that's possible but that's what I'm hoping. Thanks.

Sherardp is the guy to ask on this issue. He probably doesn't have any you can buy, but I'm sure can make a suggestion on which ones you should be looking at.

Try http://www.theprojectorplace.com/ - I began researching a short time ago, as I'd like to upgrade our 720p DLP to a full 1080p projector with HDMI inputs when the next bulb goes. There are really REALLY good reviews on various AV sites and forums for the Epson Powerlite Home Cinema 8100 (LCD) and the Mitsubishi HC3800 (DLP). If you're on a budget and want a nice HD projector new, I've found both of these are going for around $1500 new. I don't own one ...yet... but based on what I've read and heard, I think my choice will be between one of these.
I'm not affiliated with 'theprojectorplace', but feel anyone who goes above and beyond to help someone deserves a plug. I called them just with a few questions, and they gladly discussed options with me at length, and never pressured a sale. IMHO, they genuinely enjoy helping people make the right decision.
Good luck with your upgrade! Be sure to let us all know what you decide and how it works out! -
Thanks guys. I'll take a look. $1,500 new is right up my alley.
Does anyone actually have one they want to unload?Theater rig:

I picked up a JVC RS2 B stock over at AVS Forums for a tad over 2K. Watch for close outs over there and you can get catch a good deal.
