Planning to upgrade my fronts and center now, and trying to decide between the RTi A7 and the Monitor Audio RS6 or the newer RX6 (along with matching centers). Could anyone who compared these provide some input? The RS6 seem to have great reviews all over. Looking to play 75% movies and 25% music on them. What do you folks recommend?! Any other brands I should like at in the ~$1200 per pair range?

Thanks!

Have heard nothing but good things about the 7's and from what I have "heard" they are pretty much as good if not better than the 9's. They are a very solid option for HT and the occasinal music listening.

Thanks! Yes, I liked them too from what I heard in Fry's. Btw, the A5 were quite bright. The A7 are also a bit though nowhere as much as A5. Still trying to find a dealer that has RS6 in stock for an audition. Anyone else hear the RS6 or RX6?

A7s are awesome. Definitely worth a go. Pair them up with a good amp for even better performance and you would be set. Are you military sarge? If so thanks for serving bro.

The RX6 sounds better than the RS6.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Hi... Im between same models... did you finally got any of them?

I have DENON X3000 (7.2 105wpc)... and since A7's needs much power, I was told that my amp in not enought. Also my living is small. So Im thinking now on BX6s

Your receiver is fine since you have a small space and you won't be blasting it like crazy. Any speaker will benefit from adding an amp though.

Finnally I have a pair of RTi A7s... next step... wires and banana plugs (bi-amp), and a trafo from 220v to 110v to the amp.
    Thanks to all
