I am just in awe when I get time to just sit and listen for an hour or two. I am so glad I bought my RTiA9's a year ago and found this place, if I had not got them I would not have these KICK **** modded 1.2 to 1.2tl's.

I am in heaven, and it's a very nice way to unwind after a day at work.

Thats all, you can move on to your daily program now.

The 1.2 to 1.2TL mod isn't for the faint of heart, but well worth the mod.
    Thanks Larry.

My 1C's will be modded soon. The hard part about digging into them is they are in mint condition.

Pull the passive radiator out, a few clips done, and then the boards.

Molex clips like on a puter. Some of the older 1C's had dual round boards, these are the newer oners.

Edit The wires were mounted on the board so you ha to pull all the cables out to work them.

    So......

What happens if you swap your left and right SDA's around? Does it create some intensely focused center image, that turns your soundstage into a black hole?

    Just curious...

I may have to try it sometime if I get bored enough. Hell...maybe I'll play around with some upside down SDA's while I'm at it.

Just going from sl2000 tweeters to the rdo-198's is a big improvement. I'm sure redoing the crossover made another jump in performance.
