we were sitting in the den and started talking about the upcoming theatre install project. paint this wall this color, hang these blackouts here, put sound tiles there, drop ceiling here. etc.etc. then she says "hey why dont you cut a hole in the wall to the closet so you can access the back and show off your stuuf at the same time" almost floored me haha.this is the same wife that looked like i shot her mom when i said "cut a hole for ib subs" same wall same closet. hell i dont know but i have the sawzall ready thats for sure.

Hey why not combine your threads into one since your now talking dedicated HT. You have threads everywhere. Whatever you need, just ask and we will help you. There are quite a few of us here with PJ setups (some in dedicated rooms, some in family rooms) so the feedback will be mind blowing and should get you started with your project. Start by sitting down and mapping out the ideal setup you want, then shoot a few pics so we can see your space, next post any questions or concerns with the room. From there you will get tons of input and will know where to start, use ideas, etc.
See the showcase for ideas also. See my sig line for pics. Bottom line, hard to follow a million threads so make a dedicated thread for your project.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

i really appreciate the invite. i have recently figured out how to subscribe to a thred so itll be easier from here. my room is teenie 10'x15'x8'6". i have a walk in closet thats going to need rattle treatments and possibly some air conditioning or at least ventilation but thats a ways off. the sub is almost done so then its a decision between a 15"custom or a 10 "energy 10.3. i think illkeep the energy for the 2.1 channel unless youall think otherwise. really looking forward to this build (especailly the hole in the wall haha). i plan to flush mount the front speakers due to lack of room. the rears shouldnt be a prob on the back wall though. ill draw up a sketch and pics then go from there.
