Rti12 help
What would be good center and surround matches for the rti12s. I currently have a 245i center and 300i surrounds.I mistakingly bought a pair of lsifx surrounds and was told that they wouldn't be a good match. Thanks for any help

Welcome to the forum!
I currently have RTi10's for fronts, CSi5 for center, RC65i for side surrounds, and FXiA4's for rear surrounds. It sounds great. FXiA4 or FXiA6 would be the match for your surrounds if you are looking for bipole's and I would recommend CSi5 for your center. You will see a major difference with changing your center. I had the 245 when I first got the 10's and when I changed up to the CSi5, well all I can say is "WOW"! I hope this helps. It's all in the detail.

Thanks for the response. Ive looked at the rti12 product page and they recommend the fxi5 surrounds is there a difference between them and the fxi a series surrounds.

If you've got the funds and space the Csi5 will not disappoint.
I believe the differences between the fxi and the newer fxia are mostly cosmetic...although some claim to hear some sonic improvement with the newer.
They will both work nicely in your setup. -
The RTI12's are just the older model of the RTIa9's. For the center you can use an A6 or the csi5 and you'll be fine. I beleive one call has black CSi 5's for 250.00 or last time I check that was their price. The cherry are harder to come by for the price.
Also the surrounds are pretty much the same from what I can tell. But stated some feel the newer are better however the old will work great as well, you would just need to find them as they are hard to come by from what I've seen.
If you don't want as large of a center you can use the A3 (I think thats it) or the csi3 but they are not (to me) as best of a match for the 12's as the former.
