gluing magnets?

I have read that it is a good idea to re-glue the magnets on older speakers so that they don't fall off and damage/destroy the speaker. Is this necessary for all older Polk's, or just a suggestion? I have heard of the magnets coming off during shipping, but what about from regular use? I have searched the forum, but haven't found too much info about this. Could someone provide some more info about this?

Generally it takes a pretty good drop or bump, but the magnets can shift or completely fall off if knocked the right way.
A lot of people JBWeld the magnets to the spiders just for security. I wouldn't say it's necessary, but it isn't a bad idea if your speakers get moved around a lot. It's definitely a good idea if they're being shipped though.
As far as regular use, it isn't too likely that they're just going to fall off...I wouldn't worry about it too much.The nirvana inducer-
