ohm question

Ok, Heres the setup. I have 2 cs400i center channel speakers hooked up to my avr(denon 988). The cs400i is 8 ohms but with both hooked up what is my avr seeing(8 ohms,4 ohms or something different). I have a amp(adcom 5503)but haven't used it in about a month since I don't listen very loud. Should i be worried about damaging my avr.

    No, you will be fine as long as all the speakers you use are the same impedence.
