Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all

You and your light fetish!
Actually a friend of mine has one of these, well he is not really a friend of mine anymore...after sleeping with my ex-wife and all.....but thats a whole other story. I didn't realize it was all that rare though.--Gary--
Onkyo Integra M504, Bottlehead Foreplay III, Denon SACD, Thiel CS2.3, NHT VT-2, VT-3 and Evolution T6, Infinity RSIIIa, SDA1C and a few dozen other speakers around the house I change in and out. -
I owned one back in the '80s but I'm not sure of the model. The one I had was silverfaced. It was a pretty neat looking device. Don't need one now but wouldn't mind having one for a show piece.

Yes, I've got a fascination with glowing, bouncing, flashing lights. Especially if I'm under the influence of the proper things.;)
I've had "friends" like that before too.
So, does anyone know if I could hook something like this up to my rig, without it being in the signal path? Run it through a tape loop possibly, but not back to the input of the pre? I'd really love to have some bouncing meters in my rig...lolThe nirvana inducer-

BTW I have one of these in perfect shape with the original box and manual that you can have for $20.00 + shipping if you want one
I was searching Ebay for its value when I ran accross the listing.

It was the fact that this was called an Anal-lizer versus an analyzer that made it unique Joe

I'd like to **** slap folks who set there EQ up like that!~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~
