Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Actually a friend of mine has one of these, well he is not really a friend of mine anymore...after sleeping with my ex-wife and all.....but thats a whole other story. I didn't realize it was all that rare though.

I owned one back in the '80s but I'm not sure of the model. The one I had was silverfaced. It was a pretty neat looking device. Don't need one now but wouldn't mind having one for a show piece.

Yes, I've got a fascination with glowing, bouncing, flashing lights. Especially if I'm under the influence of the proper things.;)

I've had "friends" like that before too.

So, does anyone know if I could hook something like this up to my rig, without it being in the signal path? Run it through a tape loop possibly, but not back to the input of the pre? I'd really love to have some bouncing meters in my rig...lol

It was the fact that this was called an Anal-lizer versus an analyzer that made it unique Joe :p

BTW I have one of these in perfect shape with the original box and manual that you can have for $20.00 + shipping if you want one :)

I was searching Ebay for its value when I ran accross the listing.
