For Sale: eight working SL-3000 Tweeters
Will sell for $20 each + shipping. Paypal - add 3% extra. Checks and MO accepted.

All tweeters are in great working condition.

I would like to sell as a group, but if enough people are interested, I will sell in smaller quantities.

Also, there is some residual mortite around the rims of the tweeters used as a sealent. This does not affect sound and it is HIGHLY recommended that you use Mortite as an effective way to reseal your speakers. Read the threads around here regarding Mortite. I have done this with the new tweeters I installed in my speakers.

I will post pics up soon.

Thanks for your interest!

I wonder if this is a new record -
30 mins after posting original For Sale sign, a buyer is interested.
5 mins after posting pics (25 mins after original for sale sign goes up), same buyer says, I'll take them.

I knew those neon signs saying "SL-3000 tweets for sale" with blinking arrows helped in the sale.

I wonder if I should get a job in marketing.

:)Received them on Friday and just had an opportunity to install them today.

They arrived as described and work beautifully. The ones I had in my 2.3TL's worked well, but were not of the typical bronze tint that seems to be the most common. Now they all match cosmetically and I am grateful.

    Thanks Bro!:D

Glad it all worked out, and thanks for your business John!

If you have not done so already, I highly recommend that you Mortite your speakers and tweets. Its a nice upgrade which requires you to go to the Home Depot, take apart your speakers to reseal them and will set you back less than $10.

Hello0 seller, I was looking at the tweeters you have for sale (SL3000) to replace one of mine that is blown. I have the RTA 15TL speakers that i got off a friend and he swears there original. Problem is, the tweeters in mine are a gold polished color with black frames. Do you have any info on this?
