I would think everything in the magazines( reviews & new products) could be easily found on the Internet.

Yes, but you can't really sit on your couch flipping through the internet when listening to your rig. Unless you have a laptop, but it's not quite the same.

I get Stereophile and Sound & Vision. I've been thinking about getting The Absolute Sound as well.

Stereophile is nice for picture value, but all of their reviews just seem to be ridiculously enthusiastic. Every piece of gear they review is the "best ever".

TAS and Stereophile have been my favorite mags. Not saying I think their reviews are not biased, but they do provide interesting reads and inform me of all kinds of new gear. I think these two mags have the most entertaining writers.

I used to get Stereophile but I grew disenchanted with their reviews on some ridiculously expensive stuff. I would say TAS if any.

I like reading the loudspeaker measurements in Stereophile, most of the rest is just fluff.

I've been an almost 30 year subscriber to both TAS and Stereophile. As a matter of fact I still have a few from the 80s that are the small paperback size.

Another one I've bought a few times is Hi Fi + but be warned it is almost entirely very expensive gear. Kind of like reading Exotic Automoblie magazine...lots to drool at and dream about.
