I sold all 3 of my Bose 1801 amplifiers plus a 4th for parts....all to the same guy.
I thought I'd show you guys my packing job.
First step, pick up 4 sturdy boxes from the U-Haul center...$15 each.
Next, trim box height.
Then line the bottom of the box with this corrugated cardboard. I got these at work, they're used between layers of batteries stacked on a pallet.
Amplifier sits on bubble wrap, extra bubble wrap will be stuffed in front to protect the front plate.
Layers of corrugated cardboard surround the amplifier with another going on top.
It should be good for transport. 25'X25"X12" and 95 pound each. $500 shipping for all 4 via UPS.
I'll miss those amps...but I love SAE more.
