Just bought tsi 500s.....they sound good but I'm eager to return them for the rti a7s...... Will I tell a big difference if I upgrade these powering them with a denon2309??? Thanks!

Many people will say, yes, huge difference but that's what they (claim to) hear. No one can predict what you will hear.

Here's my $.02. Will they sound different? Yes. Will they sound $300 "better"? Only you can make that judgement.

I believe the midrange is much better on the A series.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Won't RTI a9s sound better than a7s? There's always a better speaker out there no matter what you have or want to get....

I prefer the A7 but I'm not a fan of TOTL loudspeakers historically.

Just an update to this thread, I decided to go ahead and upgrade to the RTi A7's and man what a difference! It is definitely worth the extra 300$, now I just need more power! My denon 2309 pushes them fine with the size of my living room, but if I were to hook up an extra amp to these speakers they would definitely handle it with ease!

I was pleasantly surprised when I hooked up my new Tsi's.

Haven't had much time with them but I got a set of 500's on demo from Polk on Friday. Watched some movies over the weekend and so far am pretty impressed with them.
