I'm looking to upgrade the cell phone and was wondering if anyone has any experience with either of these phones? I'm with US Cellular and that won't be changing.

Thanks!!

I don't know why anybody tries to do anything Internet related on a phone, I see no point and it just another distraction.....

Everytime I see somebody "zombied" out on their phone I think of the movie Surrogates....

    *sigh*

The whole "I don't like A, so I can't understand why anyone else would like A" thing is so tired...

Don't you just hate it when somebody elses opinion isn't your own:)

To add something more constructive to the thread, between those two the Curve easily wins in every category i can think of.

The web surfing is made MUCH better by grabbing Opera Mini, so if you grab a Curve that should be the first thing you download.

I don't know about the newer Curve, but the camera on the old wasn't great, but I found it adequate for a cell phone camera.

It does have a media player, but it's certainly not as intuitive as iTunes, but it still works just fine.

I would also recommend an iPhone, but given the choices you listed I assume you're looking for a free option, not gonna happen with the iPhone. As far as a free option, I don't know of anything better than a Curve really.

I don't really care, but statements like that don't add anything to a thread.

The guy didn't come in here saying "Hey, I want a cell phone with some internet capabilities, I'd like to get everyonee's opinion on if that's cool or not". He's apparently already made up his mind on what he wants, now he's looking at options on how to get there, so your comment doesn't really help him out.

I realize I'm being somewhat of an ****, but we get that SO MUCH around here, and alot of times its in cell phone threads and it gets old, we had the same crap in the nexus thread a couple days ago.

That'll be my last word on the subject here so as not to further derail this thread.

The main problem is you most likely have a low model flip phone that came free with your plan or you don't have a cell phone at all.

The iPhone is not a phone. It is a personal computer that fits in the palm of your hand!

I use my iphone for business and for pleasure.

If a client texts me or emails me and wants to know the model number of that NAS I was talking about the other day I don't have to wait till I get home or to my office to look up the info. I can do it most likely wherever the hell I am.

12 seconds later I text back my client with the correct information and He's happy as hell and next week when he needs to sign my $4300 invoice and he doesn't hesitate.

That's how business gets done in 2010!

Wake up or bow down and Die! :p

I bow to no one:) Okay, I'll let you off the hook, business is a different story....
