Crossover Question
Just picked up my new Hsu sub and need to know what I should set my crossovers at. I have RTiA5's up front with a CSiA6 center. No rears or surrounds. Before I got the sub, I had the L/R set to Large and the C set at 80. Need to know what settings I should be using now that I have a sub in the mix.

To start off, set them all to small & 80hz. Then play around with the mains at 70 then 60 to see what sounds best. The center should be left at 80 & whatever sounds best to you for the mains (80/70/60). My HK 3600 avr does not have a small choice. Only choice is Large, 40,60,80,100,etc. I am assuming when I choose 80, the speakers are being set to small. Yes???? My new Hsu sub is the more powerful model. What do I gain by using lower that 80 for the mains. Why should I leave the C at 80. Think I have an idea but want to hear from the pros. Thanks for all your help.

As far as your AVR not having a small setting, I'm assuming that 80hz would default them to the small setting. I'm guessing here though.
