Recommendation for 6x8 speakers for Mustang GT

I recently purchased a system from a friend. It's a Jensen cd/dvd player vm9312, two 12's bazooka subs, audiobahn a2401t 2-channel amp, and kicker 50si 2-channel amp.
I currently have the mach 460 system. I'm looking for a pair of speakers that'll fit a 99 mustang gt. I believe they are 6x8. I prefer a warm sound and would like to keep it below $150. I'm not going to bother with the rears since I don't usually have people in the back.
Also is it better to have the kicker50si amp which is considerably smaller to power the subs or the other way around?

After doing some research I'm considering the Infinity Reference 6830cs they are $108 at dealercostaudio.com
Well I think the smaller amp will power the speakers, until I can some money for a better amp.
Any thoughts on the Infiinity's?Setup:

I find infinitys a bit bright. Why not look at components instead of the 6x8? The mm-6501 would be a good start to your a-z upgrade. As for the next upgrade, do your hu, then the amps and your sub.

Thanks. The hu, amps, and subwoofer I got a good price for them, and getting it installed for free. So that was the big reason behind the purchase. I've had the Polk MOMO series before, and they were good. The one you listed may be a little out of my budget. Any other's that would be considered good warm speakers? The Infinity Reference 6830cs are component, and they are 6x8. What about Boston Acoustics, JL Audio, or Alpine?Setup:

A round speaker is more accurate compared to an oval, but the oval is typically louder as it has more cone area.
Infinity reference is what I call neutral sounding, not warm nor bright, Infinity Kappa is definitely BRIGHT, capital letters intended.
Polk is neutral to me. Boston is neutral, JL is warmish (except their metal dome tweeters), Alpine warm across most of their line. (all my opinions, YOUR ears are what matters, get out and do some listening in car shops!!!)
Use the smaller amp for the front speakers and the larger amp for the sub. Bass requires more power than mid to high, to be near the same volume. (flat frequency response) If it doesn't sound right, would be simple to flip them though.
Recommendation based on information you have provided so far: Pioneer Premier TS-A502C -- Soft dome tweeter will give you a warm sound, woofer is definitely up to par and will give you excellent mid-bass. $149 from Crutchfield. Fits all your wants from my perspective. I still think you should go listen to speakers though, our opinions are based on how WE hear, not you. Thanks man that was helpful. I'm going to check out a few shops this week, and make a decision. Thanks again.Setup:

Stay away from the Infinity brand. They are two busy trying to come wup with a gimmick instead of a speaker. If you are only going with one set of speakers get something nice. JL Audio and Focal are good speakers and they make several that will drop right in. As far as round speakers go they do sound better. Will you hear a difference in that car, probably not. Whenever you get to the wiring of this system you will need to utilize the wires going to the small speakers and not the ones going to the existing 6X8's. The two door 6X8's are wired in together and the two rear are wired together. Just trashed the entire mach system...

I'm considering this one. Will 6.5 or 5.25 component speakers fit or would I be best just choosing a 5x7/6x8 component system?
I'm going tomorrow to listen to a few places, and see if any of these local shops have some good deals, because so far online has been almost half off what Best Buy, Car Toys have been selling.Setup:
2 Channel: Vienna Acoustics Mozart Grand, T+A P 1230R, Primare SPA21, Oppo BDP-105

Focal 570 CA1 are 5x7 $300 at a local shop, but $150 online. I'll give them a listen tomorrow. So are components always the best option?Setup:

Thanks. I'm going to go with the Alpine SPX-13REF they come with a 6x8 adapter, and feel they'll sound best for this price range.Setup:
