1-800-Flowers. . . DON'T USE

Just need to vent a bit. I ordered roses to be sent to my wife's work from 1-800-Flowers to be delivered to her office today. I placed the order a week ago so to be early. I hadn't received a call from her all day, which surprised me because she usually calls me as soon as she receives something. I checked the order status and it indicated that they had received my order, but had no tracking/delivery information.
Called them and after a 30 minute wait on hold, I was told that they were delivered at 6:54PM. Mind you, it is only 3:15PM when I called them. The customer service guy (who barely spoke English) said that he made a mistake, they were scheduled to be delivered at 6:54PM. I asked how exactly he knew the exact minute they were going to be delivered as well as informed him that they were being delivered to a business which would be closed at 6:54PM. I asked for a working tracking number (the one they gave me was invalid). He couldn't provide this to me. I asked to speak with his supervisor and was told the supervisor is too busy. He offered to have the flowers delivered on Monday. Mind you, he still insists that they were shipped. I explained again that Monday was too late. ****. . . Ok, done venting. Off to the flower shop. Who knows what type of selection they will have!

That sucks, dude.
I know it doesn't help now, but I have had great luck with Pro Flowers having used them several times. Hell, I think they are even delivering on Sunday this year. -

I had some Valentine Roses delivered on February 15 a couple of years ago from 1-800- Flowers. I will never use them again.I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

We've had more success with Pro Flowers but they've dropped the ball in regards to delivery a couple times.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I had used Pro Flowers before to have flowers sent to my mom on her birthday. They delivered them a day late and wouldn't give me a refund. I've never had a problem with 1-800-Flowers before. I've been using them because they donate 7% of whatever I purchase to a charity I support through Goodshop.com. Never again.
It's been one of those days. I took the day off because I had an alarm company scheduled to install our house alarm as well as scheduled an electrician to give me an estimate on installing a dedicated circuit for my HT gear. Couldn't believe it when both failed to show. Electrician claimed he had an emergency and forgot to call. Alarm install guy claimed he didn't know about the installation time window that I was given. One of those days I guess! -
I've also had luck with ProFlowers. If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Best thing to do is go to a local florist, pick out your roses, and hand-deliver. She'll never be happier. Especially this year... V-Day is on Sunday... c'mon...Ludicrous gibs!

I've had luck with Pro Flowers but FedEx completely destroyed one shipment, the vase was in a million pieces and the flowers were crushed. My wife said it looked like the box was run over so they took out the remains and put what was left in a new box. At least I got credit with her for the thought.Mains - LSi9's

Sorry to hear you had problems. That sucks!
I have used them in the past several times and never had a problem.Sunfire TGP, Sunfire Cinema Grand, Sunfire 300~2 (2), Sunfire True Sub (2),Carver ALS Platinum, Carver AL III, TFM-55, C-19, C-9, TX-8, SDA-490t, SDA-390t -
I always use Pro Flowers, they are cheaper and reliable. And somehow they always have special offer of free vase, and always delivered on promise.
1-800 flowers is nothing more than a franchise collections of independent flower shops. Sorta like 1-800 Dentist, I think. Co-op marketing.I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.
