Well I guess it is the South's turn this time. I've got 3 inches and still falling. Suppose to snow until midnight and then warm up in the 50's tomorrow. Probably a one day wonderland. Last time it snowed in Augusta, Ga was 2002.

This area goes crazy when it snows. Kroger is limiting shoppers to 4 gallons of milk. May be a run on ammunition before it quits snowing at midnight. We'll probably get 5-7 inches and then gone by sundown tomorrow.

I spent the night on Wednesday shoveling snow from around my GFs car, into my truck, and then unloading it in the back yard. 3 loads worth just to get her car unblocked, not to mention all the snow I piled everywhere I could until I ran out of room and resorted to the truck.

Don't want to hear no whining about 5-7"
    Ludicrous gibs!

Yeah I was just talking to Ben. Will 5 - 7" close your cities down?

It just started snowing south of Charlotte about an hour ago. 1/2" accumulation at best so far and right now, it's only sticking in the grassy areas, cars and rooftops.

Now it's starting to stick to the streets. Lightman1 is coming over, so this will give him something to mark his territory with.

I heard on the CBS evening news that 49 of 50 states have snow on the ground. Only Hawaii is spared.

Snow to the west, south, east and north of us...but we have nothing. We are in a snow free pocket for the time being. It's been plenty cold enough (teens and twentys) but the one time we had any serious precipitation it was too warm and we all we got was about 4 inches of rain.

Yea, I have had enough snow as well. My 4x4 fullsize truck got buried in driveway. Brought in a frontend loader to dig it out and pull it out. Had to bring in a 4x4 backhoe to pull the frontend loader out.

We wound up getting 7 inches, most since 1973 when we got 14 inches. Rare stuff down here. Just enough for the current generation of kids to see snow.

We ended up with about 3-4" and most of it has already melted away. 95% of it will be gone by tonight, I would estimate.
