edited February 2010 in 2 Channel Audio
I couldn't wait for my neighbor to get home tonight with a solder gun so I went to Ace and bought one of my own. Fixed the Right channel RCA ground inside the Adcom GFA-5500 and closed her up. Took a while to adjust my shelves in the armoire but I think it was worth it. You guys are right, the acoustics sound much better at lower volumes but when you turn it up, it really comes alive!!! More bass and the highs are clearer. My ears are ringing after some testing with ZZ-Top, Muse, and some Zeppelin. Happy for now and will be upgrading the center and obtain some rear surrounds (have ceiling ones for now).

Have a great weekend !

Beautiful system set up and glad you got it fixed.
Just out of curiosity....Do you have some form of ventilation in the cabinet???

+1 on the ventilation. Looks like it might get a bit hot in there. System looks great though!
