follow the link to pdf diagrams. ask around in the vintage speaker area for tweeter opinions. will also get cap ideas such as sonicap seems popular. also, if you mention to polk when you call, you may get a discount for being a forum member. welcome and good luck!

The RD0194-1 is the part number for the replacement silk dome tweeter which replaces the "silver" dome sl2000. Not sure who you talked to at Polk but the "silver dome" sl2000 hasn't been avail for atleast 6-7 years.

If you order the RD0194-1's tell them you are a Club Polk member and you will get a discount..........last I heard they would run you $45 a piece.

They are highly, highly recommended and you need to replace all the tweeters if you go with the RD0194-1 as they will not sound right used together with the sl2000.

Your other option if you wanted to save money is post a wanted to buy in the classifieds for a used sl2000

or try to source a 'used' one on Ebay
