I am planning to buy a subwoofer, I currently have 2 RTi8's, CSi5 and 2 Rti4's.

My living room is 25ft long*20ft wide *11ft high. What is the best bang for buck ?

My budget is around $200 to $250

BIC F12 is $182 shipped
Specifications:

Design: Front-firing 12" 475-watt peak powered subwoofer
Frequency Response: 25Hz - 200Hz
Sensitivity: 90dB
Drivers: 12" Injection molded woofer with heavy duty surround
Magnetic Shielding: YES
Gold-Plated Terminals:YES
Recommended Power: Built-in Amplifier Power: 475 watts Dynamic Peak, 150 watts RMS continuous
Impedance: 8 ohms
Dimensions: 17"H x 14 3/4"W x 17 1/4"D

Polk PSW505 is 229 shipped
Specs: http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/specs/recent/psw505/

Or are there any used entry-level subs which should be looking for in my price-range.

My listening preferences are 40% music, 60% movies

Any help in choosing between them will be appreciated.

Thanks
Fronts: RTi 8s
Center: CSi 5
Rears: RTi 4s
Receiver: Onkyo TX-SR705
Subwoofer: Elemental A3-250 and SVS
Light: Epson Home Cinema 8350

    both are good I don't think you could go wrong with either one in your set up.
    Main 2ch -
    BlueSound Node->Ethereal optical cable->Peachtree Audio Nova 150->GoldenEar Triton 2+
    TT - Pro-ject Classic SB with Sumiko Bluepoint.

    TV 3.1 system -
    Denon 3500 -> Dynaudio Excite 32/22

    You've got a large room. BIC claims 475 watts peak power from a 150w RMS amp vs Polk's 460w peak from 300w RMS amp. The Polk seems like a more realistic rating to me. I'd go with the Polk.

    You may want to give consideration to Two Parts Express Sub 120's. Set you back $240 + some shipping. This will give you stereo sub's and lower distortion vs one of the same.

    If we are talking strictly stretching your $$ to do the most this is where I would look.

    Good luck.

    Interesting that the sale ends 2/28 and they are out of stock until 3/9.

    You order now at the price listed and you get them when they hit stock.
