1C and 1.2tl Tweeters

Hi all,

I have a pair af 1Cs and 1.2tls and am looking to upgrade the tweeters on both to the RDOs with mod's to the XOs at a later date. I've searched the site and am pretty sure of the answer, but want confirmation for the following:

Can the SL3000 be used on the 1Cs so I can upgrade both now, starting with the 1.2tl and incrementally doing the 1Cs from the SL2000 to SL3000 and finally RDOs? I beleive it's no without totally changing the XO, and if so, can and should I do a TL mod to the 1Cs?

    Pretty sure that is not an approved mod. As far as I know the 1C's can not be TL modded.
    They do sound signifigantly better with updated tweeters and upgraded capacitors/resistors.

    No. You want either the SL2000 or its replacement, the RD0194-1.

    As Conradicles stated, there is no TL mod for the 1C's.

    Any SDA or RTA that has TL in the model designation. It is also used to replace the SL2500 tweeter.

    OK. So since the 1C cannot be TL Modded, the only replacement tweeter is the RDO194, correct? sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread.
