No need for a cover in Dallas but I will leave the pool pump running tonight. Just had the fence installed in November and it is Cedar. Once thing the guys did that I have not seen before is enclose the steel post with cedar boards. I like the look over the shiney steel post.

The previous fence I built 23 years ago.

Officially, Flower mound got 7". I think it's less, but at least 5".
Either way, the crazies will be playing bumper cars soon enough.

That's not a shovel... that's a broom. If you can sweep your snow, it doesn't count.
    Ludicrous gibs!

She shoveled first but since we do not own a snow shovel she used a gravel shovel and then using a broom to finish off.

It don't much matter because it will all be gone tomorrow, suppose to reach mid 50s Saturday.

Thats the nice thing about Texas, DOn't like the weather, wait it will change soon.

It was 16 degrees here last night.

I was standing on top of 3+ feet of snow and not sinking even an inch. Yay, ice!

We'll see if it freezes overnight tonight. No way all this stuff is going to burn off today, so if it freezes overnight it could get interesting.

Although, I've already been out on the roads this morning up here in North Plano, and it's not bad at all, looks much more dangerous than it really is.

I know 8 inches is nothing for most of you guys who live up north, but it's all relative. We're not used to, or prepared, for this stuff down here.

This is like what happens when it gets up to 95 degrees in Oregon and everyone freaks out because they don't have AC in their homes :D
