    Pretty generic and low-end; probably not awful and not expensive (tho' it needs a belt). No info about the cartridge; probably safe to assume it'll need a new stylus, so the cost of ownership could add up rather quickly.

    I'd pass, but I am picky when it comes to turntables (except when stuff is free).

    +1 unless you are wanting a DIY RCM.

    If you are on a very tight budget try to find a Technics SL1300 or something like it.
