VM Series Vs RTI
I currently am using RTI 6's (L,R); CSI3 (C) and monitor 30's for surround. My wife doesn't like the way that the 6's look on the wall (stick out too far). My question is if I were to upgrade to the VM20's for my left and right channels are they better then the rti6's I currently use? Would they be considered timbre matched for my CSI3? Or should I be looking at replacing at least my front sound stage? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Dirk

I haven't heard much about the VM series on this forum, but they look like a very eye pleasing HT solution for those of you with WAF issues. There's a thread above with people that have demoed these very speakers. Check that or look at the Polk product page and read the reviews. If you do replace the mains though, I would get the matching center as well. Look into the new Definitive Technology Mythos speakers too, they're very attractive speakers that pack a big sound. Good luck . . .

I'm yet to hear the VM series, but I'd imagine they don't have the bass response that the RTi's have. In an HT setup, that's not really a big issue though(assuming that you have a sub).
They've got WAY different tweeters, so they probably wouldn't be a good match for the CSi5. A third VM20 as a center channel would be the best solution. A VM10 would also work though. The nirvana inducer-
