Atrium 8 Outdoor Speaker
I'm planning to purchase the dual coil Atrium 8SDI for a large (300 sq. ft) deck. The speaker will be part of my A-Bus (Russound) system and will be powered by 15w amplifier. Is this enough power for the Atrium 8 or do I need to boost the power?

Hello and welcome to the forum. I would recommend boosting the power with good, clean power.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

What size amp would you recommend

What might your budget be and how long of a run do you have to get to the speakers?~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

The run from the present 15w amp is about 25 feet and to complicate matters, I've got two outdoor speakers coming off that amp.
I'd be willing to spend +/-$200. What do you suggest? -
Just run them with what you have for now, upgrade later. They're pretty efficient but I don't believe they will get very loud @ 15wpc.
Wait, do you mean two pairs of outdoor speakers? If so, check out Craigslist and grab an older HT receiver with A+B speaker outputs.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
