I'm planning to purchase the dual coil Atrium 8SDI for a large (300 sq. ft) deck. The speaker will be part of my A-Bus (Russound) system and will be powered by 15w amplifier. Is this enough power for the Atrium 8 or do I need to boost the power?

Hello and welcome to the forum. I would recommend boosting the power with good, clean power.

What might your budget be and how long of a run do you have to get to the speakers?

The run from the present 15w amp is about 25 feet and to complicate matters, I've got two outdoor speakers coming off that amp.

I'd be willing to spend +/-$200. What do you suggest?

Just run them with what you have for now, upgrade later. They're pretty efficient but I don't believe they will get very loud @ 15wpc.

Wait, do you mean two pairs of outdoor speakers? If so, check out Craigslist and grab an older HT receiver with A+B speaker outputs.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
