I have an old pair of Magnepan Tympani loudspeakers; vintage mid-70s. They've been in storage for most of their life (between me not having enough power for the first couple of years, then moving around a lot for the last 15 years). Anyway, they need a rebuild (the factory rebuilt them to 1-D specs in 1984) and one of the panels has a small dent in it. I've come to the realization that I will never fully utilize these amazing speakers and am looking to sell them. Anyone have any thoughts on their worth?

    <400 at the most.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

EdwardNYC , I suspect that if You placed these on Ebay with a starting price of $400.00 , You might be surprised what some people will pay . I would also suggest that You be upfront ( as You were here ) about the condition of these speakers . . . You never know . . . take some photo's and list them . . . they could go to a Good Home .

    Good Luck with Your Tympani's . . . Stephen
