Pioneer SE-405 headphones

Hi guys:
I guess technically this falls under vintage. Several years ago, I was at a yard sale and bought a pair of pioneer SE-405 headphones for $5. I got home, stuck them in a box and forgot about them. Today, while cleaning out the box, i found them. I plugged them in and they sounded ok. It looks like at the very least they need a thorough cleaning. Any advise on the proper steps needed to try and restore these? On a side note, they weigh a ton, but seem kind of cool!
