Paramount Blu-ray Sapphire Series

Has anyone seen one of these Sapphire Series blu-rays? Looks like the only movies available so far are Braveheart, Gladiator, and Forrest Gump. A Paramount vice chairman claims, "the Sapphire Series will deliver the best pictures in the best picture." I'm curious if anyone has seen a comparison of a Sapphire BR vs a regular BR. My local Fry's Electronics has them (on sale?) for $29.99.

Here is a thread about Gladiator and Braveheart Blu-Rays when they first came out.
Long story short - Gladiator sucked (better than DVD, but worse than expected) Braveheart was reference quality.
Basically hit or miss / the saphire standard means nothing..

I have Braveheart and Gladiator. Both were pretty good, not sure why there so much gripe over Gladiator though. I was happy with my purchase in the end.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

Braveheart is one of the best looking Blu-rays I've seen, flawless, jaw dropping image quality. I have not seen Gladiator. I avoided it because of the amount of flak it took.If...

Oh, I was under the impression that there was both a BR and a Sapphire BR version kinda like what a Superbit DVD was to a regular DVD. Sorry, my mistake.
