hello all,

i have another opportunity to buy an excellent piece of used equipment. it is a PSW 450.

Can anyone tell me how good a sub this is?? I am currently using a Klipsch SUB 10 which is quite powerful. But, would a Polk sub make a better match with my RT 2000, FX 1000 and Cs 400???

The sub is in great shape and only $150.00.....

Thanks, Dave

The Synergy Sub 10? I think it would end up being a wash depending on how happy you are now.

The K sports a nice BASH amp, quick 10" driver and is aesthetically better looking. The Polk is close enough in power and the 12" driver should hit a little harder with less effort. It would most likely hit the spec'd low hz numbers cleaner than the 10" driver will but it's not a wall crumbler. You could also add some nice spikes to the Polk which I'm pretty sure you cannot with the K.

As far as $150....I think its high but I'm a haggler by nature.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
