What would you pay for these?

Someone recently was plugging old Eico tube preamps. On my local craigslist, Eico HF-35 dual mono tube amps came up. I've tried to research these, but haven't found much, other than they are good amps. Does someone have info on these vintage amps? What would be a resonable price for two of these, assuming that they are in decent condition. I would love to know how powerful they are...awaiting to hear from the owner.

    35 watts?

Will these be okay with SDA's?

I know "Tubes Rule" and all, but 35 watts compared to 250 watts of Carver power???

    I'd love opinions.

They would be very cool for a vintage restoration. The iron alone is what a lot of folks look for....and the eBay ad listed is about all I would pay but everyone has favorites.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Well, that is 285 dollars for ONE of them...so 570 bucks for two of them is reasonable? I know it's subjective, but would it be 'better' than the Carver amp? (Opinions, are welcome)

I LOVE my Carver amp...any other opinions? As always, I don't have the money to throw around to have both. I'll have to buy one, listen to both and sell one or the other (Eico or Carver).

You shouldn't just jump into gear that vintage without having some more information, be prepared for DOA, be prepared for problems regardless of description, own a variac, own a soldering gun and associated materials, etc etc.

That's where you are wrong! I know a brand that is worse than Carver while it's made by Carver!
