hi, I have some Monitor 10b's with one SL1000 and one SL2000...I'm guessing that the original owner blew an SL2000 and they replaced it with an SL1000 because it looks small for the opening.....I'm guessing if I come across another SL1000 I can just drop it right in? There are no crossover mods to consider?

I would replace them both with the Polk's upgrade, the RDO-194. They are much smoother than the SL2000. I do have a pair of Monitor 10s with the SL1000 which sounded quite good but the RDOs still sounded better. Polk customer services said I did not need to make any crossover modification when I swapped out the SL1000 for the RDO-194. They will fit the opening correctly as well.
