i just saw this at my local pawnshop for $600. What do you guys think of this subwoofer? Its seem to have lots of power. 2 15's. Is it going to mix well with my Lsi's set up? Is it a big upgrade from my dsw600? Thanks for your comments !

    That's a monster sub....
i'd talk him down from 600 though. Subs + amps I'm always leery of since you don't know where it came from since it's in a pawn shop.

Thats a good deal for that sub, however 600 is a lot of money, I would want "if this breaks a week after i bring it home I can get my money back" statement in writing. Even then IMO I would want the standard 1-5 year warranty that you get with a new product thats a lot pennies to lose to a manufacturer defect.

Make sure it not just works but also sounds right. I wouldn't bother with it if there is ANY thing wrong with it. There are some damn good subs you can get brand new for 600.

The sub looks good and sounds good. I just want to see some thoughts about this sub. Im saving money for a velodyne dd-series. I might go back and see if they can sell around $450-500

A sub of that nature even at 600 is a pretty sweet deal. I don't know exactly but i think that sub retails new for like 1k or more.

If it where me I would buy the sub IF and only IF the guy at the pawn shop would let me test it out in my home. If the pawn shop would allow you an in home trail by all means your not going to get a better deal on a sub of that nature.

I think your going to find that you Don't need much more sub then the RSW-15 and its not worth your time in trying to upgrade it for a long time.

What ever the case make sure you can get a week or more return policy.

600 is too much...but I like Manskito's idea and would go with it...once I got a lower price on that sub!

I heard that sub years ago, and I remember it being Very Good on HT.
If you can get it for 500, now that's a smoking deal.
