Posted an ad on CL in New Jersey as we are again expanding and looking for an account manager to cover ShopRite accounts....over 550 resumes in 3 hours :eek: thats 2-3 times the norm we usually get TOTAL after a weeks run...as posted before its truly amazing of what people will send in thinking it will get them a call back let alone a job..will keep me busy for days....

    Pretty sad isn't it?? CL is a scary place to send a resume through, lot's of folks scamming to get info. Be careful who you send to!!

    I use CL the most for new positions, I found the same people who apply thru Monster,Indeed etc etc also apply to CL ads and its free where as the others charge a lot of $$$. I would see the same resume 3-4 times for the same job from 3 different ads placed, so now 90% CL and 10% of hires through friends or recomendations of current employees.

    I wonder why with all the corruption here in New Jersey we have high unemployment, extremely high taxes, highly paid state workers who are terrible employees, I gotta go puke.............................. be back soon

    NJ is absolutely being slammed with job losses. Most will not be coming back as the giant manufacturing base that was present here is gone. :mad:

    Manufacturing not only employed the assembly workers or fabricators but the people used to construct the facilities (me). Have been out of work 10 months and counting, wife out 11 months and counting.

    Sad,Sad,Sad state of affairs here on the east coast. Leaves me wondering if other parts of the country are truly as badly hit as the middle eastern coast.

    Let me guess, your in South Jersey!

    I am heading to Clemson University in a month and can't wait to see the area I will move to next. Not saying Georgia or S. Carolina is where we will live but maybe north a few hundred miles or so.
