DSW500 Pro paired with M20s - Crossover?

I just bought a DSW500 Pro to go along with my M20 Floorstanding speakers. I need help calibrating it. Do you think the M20s are worthy of a 60hz cutoff or a 80hz. Also, any tips for figuring out which phase I should be using, 0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees. Lastly, I running a Marantz S7002 Reciever with Microphone calibration. What volume should I set the sub too while calibrating, 0 - 40? Thanks guys!

I'd say 80hz
Whichever phase sounds the best, probably 0.
Volume at 20.

Best would be 80hz, and regarding degrees, use a album what you like the most which has nice dynamics and use it as a reference, play exactly same track same section for couple of minutes and listen in you sweet spot,
then repeat with every other setting and have a piece of paper and note down the results for your reference and you will surprised how you become a critic to find the best placement and phase degrees which is the best. -
Thanks for the tips guys. I ran home at lunch and calibrated my system. Sounds unreal at 80 hz and a 90 degree phase. I have one more question. Should I adjust my subwoofers volume and leave my subwoofer channel level on my amp at a constant volume. Or visa versa?

Doesn't REALLY matter. If you're finding yourself having to turn one or the other REALLY far up, then i'd start fiddling around to find a better happy medium.
Interesting that 90 degree phase sounded the best... how is your system set up?I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

Subwoofer is located right beside the right front speaker in the corner of the room. It's also connected in the LFE input on my reciever. I played a 80hz tone on repeat and changed the phase while sitting in my listening position. 90 degree sounded the lowest and cleanest to me.

I've found it best to have both levels set at somewhat of a happy medium. When I do need to adjust my sub on the fly, I generally use the volume control on the sub. The only real reason for that is that it's easier to adjust that than go through the menus in my AVR to turn it up. It shouldn't really make a difference either way.
The only thing is, you don't really want to the volume on the AVR to be way up, with the level on the sub real low, or vice-versa.The nirvana inducer-
